Main goal: Get the attention of subs who didn't act on (or see) the first invite email and create urgency around saving their seat

This email layers on emotional appeal, logic, and urgency.
Here's how:
The result is a message that feels personal, grounded, and actionable.
❓ FAQ: How many webinar invite emails should I send?
I suggest a MINIMUM of 4 outright invite emails. What I mean by “outright” is that those emails’ primary focus is the event.
However, in between your invite emails, you can continue to send your usual content emails (or add a few in) and have them be related to the topic of your materclass or webinar, so you can naturally mention the event and have a CTA for them sign up at the end.
Subject Line: “[Name], what if you could 40X your profits?”
This line uses a merge tag to insert the reader’s name, then “what if…”, which strikes at the reader’s imagination, followed by a bold promise.
It works because it creates curiosity (“what if?”), is measurable (“40X your profits”), and hits a high-value benefit (profit).
Personal Story as a Soft Open
Rather than diving right into a pitch, Jenna opens with a story most of us could relate to:
“I was thumbing through my inbox, drinking chai lemon water, and kept thinking about you…”
It’s simple, human, and lightly humorous.
This kind of detail-rich, seemingly offhand opening makes the reader feel like they’re part of an ongoing conversation.
And what I LOVE about this is that IT’S JUST 1 SENTENCE.
A story doesn’t have to be paragraphs long.
A well-written line like this one acts as a hook AND a story. Plus you won’t lose anyone to boredom cuz it’s just 1 line!!
Problem-Solution Framing
She follows her story with a clear pain point callout:
"You might not be using your email list to its fullest potential. Or worse, you don’t even have an email list yet."
Then she pivots to the solution (her masterclass) and uses urgency to encourage them to act now without feeling manipulated.
Logical Payoff with Data
I love that Jenna uses actual data to back up her claims in this email.
This add credibility and shows anyone skeptical logical reasons to join her.
Multiple CTA Touchpoints
There are multiple calls to action throughout this email, and they are all soft but direct.
Again she uses one-click registration throughout to minimize friction and conversion loss.
Solid email frameworks like this one are built on marketing, copywriting, and psychological strategies that are proven and have been around forever.
And they are hella versatile!! So just cuz this email is inviting you to a webinar, this general framework can be used in a variety of emails – with a few tweaks…
The idea here is to follow the framework and structure of the email, but to put in your own words, content, pain points, thoughts, and CTAs.
That’s where success lies.
Not in trying to use this email as a template, but to use it as a framework to organize and develop your emails with more intention and proven copywriting strategies behind it.

Absolutely! Swap the webinar for a product demo, live event, or even a content preview and mirror the tone, CTA placement, and pain point-driven structure.

While Jenna sends this as her second masterclass invite email, this is robust enough to act as the first invite email as well.
Don’t assume that your subs read your last email and already decided they didn’t want to go to your event!
